AEDM day 26: in Tuscany

It feels somehow decadent, to work on a new painting when I have so many others in progress that need finishing up. But I'm enjoying myself. This is the beginning of a Tuscan scene that I've wanted to paint for a while now. I think there will end up being a whole series of them.

I really love your work -- the colours and the shapes are wonderful!

Jul - I love this. The colors and the time of day really work for me. The space builds up the feeling of morning.

oooh, goody - a whole series! It's good to multi-task. Which means start lots of different projects. Over the long haul they start to talk to each other - a conversation that wouldn't happen if you weren't bringing them into being! Good for you!

I love it! So rich & colourful - I was out in the country today, & could see the mountains (hood, st helens, jefferson) & the bright green of the fields & very blue sky! Yummy

Thank you all for your encouragement! I really like this one, too, which is a hard spot for me to be in with a work in progress... I'm so afraid of messing it up. So far so good...
